Refund Policy

Overview
We want you to feel confident when purchasing. If something isn't right — whether it's an accidental purchase, an unexpected auto-renewal, or the plan just isn't for you — we have clear refund terms for every scenario.
1. Monthly Subscriptions (Plus & Pro)
New purchase: Full refund within 48 hours of purchase, provided you have not used any paid features (such as fact-check analysis) during that billing period.
Auto-renewal: If your subscription auto-renews and you didn't intend to continue, you may request a full refund within 48 hours of the renewal charge, provided you have not used any paid features in the new billing cycle.
After 48 hours: No refund is available for the current billing period. You may cancel at any time to prevent future charges — your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
2. Yearly Subscriptions (Plus & Pro)
Within 30 days — no paid features used: Full refund of the yearly amount.
Within 30 days — paid features used: Prorated refund for the remaining unused months. For example, if you cancel after 1 month of a 12-month plan, you receive a refund for the remaining 11 months minus any applicable processing fees.
After 30 days: No refund is available. You may cancel at any time to prevent auto-renewal — your access continues until the end of the yearly period.
Yearly auto-renewal: Full refund within 7 days of renewal, provided you have not used any paid features in the new billing year. After 7 days, the standard 30-day policy above applies from the renewal date.
3. How to Request a Refund
Email support@rebutly.com with your account email and the reason for your request. We aim to process all refund requests within 3 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Paddle, our payment processor.
4. Exceptions
Refunds may be denied if we detect abuse of the refund policy, such as repeatedly purchasing and refunding to gain free access. We reserve the right to limit refunds to one per product type per account within a 6-month period.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Settings page. Cancellation stops future charges but does not trigger an automatic refund. Your access remains active until the end of your current billing period.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The refund terms that apply to your purchase are those in effect at the time of your purchase.
