1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Rebutly, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. One person may not maintain more than one account.

3. Content Guidelines

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Rebutly a license to display and distribute your content on the platform. Content must not include hate speech, harassment, threats, illegal material, or spam. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines.

4. Debate Rules

Debates must follow the structured format. Arguments should be substantive and relevant. Personal attacks, ad hominem fallacies, and intentional misinformation are prohibited. Repeated violations may result in account restrictions.

5. AI Verification

AI scoring and verification are provided as-is and may not be perfect. Scores are generated by language models and should be considered advisory. We continuously improve scoring accuracy but do not guarantee 100% correctness. All users receive free automatic scoring for logic, relevance, tone, and fallacies. Fact-check analysis against web sources is available on paid plans.

6. Fair Use Policy

Rebutly offers tiered access to debates and AI verification features. To ensure platform stability and a quality experience for all users, the following usage allowances and limits apply:

Free Plan

Free users may initiate up to 5 challenges per calendar month and maintain up to 2 active debates at a time. Defending is always unlimited. Each completed debate receives automatic AI scoring for logic, relevance, tone, and fallacies at no cost. Fact-check analysis is not available on the Free plan. Unused challenges do not roll over.

Plus Plan

Plus subscribers may initiate unlimited challenges, maintain up to 5 active debates, and receive 10 fact-check analyses per month. All plans are subject to reasonable fair use limits to ensure platform stability and a quality experience for all users.

Pro Plan

Pro subscribers may initiate unlimited challenges, maintain up to 12 active debates, and receive unlimited fact-check analyses. All plans are subject to reasonable fair use limits to ensure platform stability and prevent automated abuse.

General Fair Use Terms

All plans are intended for individual, non-automated use. You may not use scripts, bots, or other automated means to create debates, submit arguments, or trigger verifications. Rebutly reserves the right to monitor usage patterns and, at its sole discretion, throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that engage in activity reasonably deemed to be abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of this policy. We may update plan allowances and fair use thresholds at any time, with reasonable notice provided to affected users.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through Settings.

8. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
